Account Manager Job Description
Position Overview
As a member of our agency, you have an opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be an Independent Agent. You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote the Bazemore-Abner Insurance Group Inc. including auto, home, and business insurance. This position will allow you to experience working in an agent's office.


  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
  • Adaption of skills necessary to operate a business.

  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
  • Courses on ethical and customer centered sales practices will be required
